WV Projects

6,585 pages on your website. Nine of them earn any traffic at all.

A full look at the site, your reviews, and what's actually happening behind the scenes, plus the plan to fix it.

One thing we want to get right before anything else: an earlier version of our notes had you trading under a registered name, "WV Carpentry and Maintenance," that turned out to belong to a different business entirely, a sole trader in Victoria with no connection to you. We caught it checking the public register directly and wanted you to know we checked rather than assumed. Everything below is checked against your real ABN and your real Google listing.

What's going on, biggest impact first

Costs you the most

6,585 URLs on your site. Nine of them earn any traffic at all.

Verified by a complete crawl: 2,355 pages are live, 4,176 redirect, and the site has sat at the same Domain Rating since May. Only 9 pages out of 6,585 earn a single visit a month, that's 0.14 per cent. Total traffic across the whole site: 38 visits a month. It's actually two separate page-building efforts stacked on top of each other, one from late 2025, one from mid-2026, and roughly 3,800 of the location pages duplicate another page on your own site targeting the same suburb and the same service.

The fix, technical SEO cleanup: keep 30 to 50 suburbs that actually matter, redirect the rest. One page per suburb per service, not three or four competing with each other.

Could actively lose you a job

Some of your suburb pages describe the wrong place entirely.

We read 16 suburb pages in full. Several describe somewhere else:Ashby: "a town located in Leicestershire, England"Dalkeith: "a historic town located in Midlothian, Scotland"Jindalee: "the western part of Brisbane, Queensland... subtropical climate"Butler: "A Butler is a domestic worker in a large household, responsible for managing the dining room, wine cellar, and pantry"This looks like machine-generated content that nobody read before it went live. Worth being precise here: this sample deliberately targeted suburb names that collide with overseas places, so it's not the site-wide rate, but it is published and it is not isolated.

The fix, same cleanup: every kept suburb page gets rewritten properly, with the right geography, before it goes anywhere near paid traffic.

Costs you quotes you've already half-won

You have a perfect 5.0 from 14 Google reviews, and the website shows four anonymous quotes instead.

Your real Google Business Profile: 5.0 stars, 14 reviews, every single one five stars. The website has no star rating or review count anywhere. Instead there are four testimonials with no suburb, no date and no platform named, all created within a four day window, which reads like they were written for the launch rather than collected over time. We're not saying they're not genuine, just that your real, verifiable, perfect record is one click away and isn't being used.

The fix, conversion optimisation: put the real 5.0 from 14 on the site, link the profile, and start collecting more the same way.

The single biggest unknown

We can't find where your contact form actually goes.

There's no form tag anywhere in the page we can read, it's rendered entirely by JavaScript with no visible action, no known form plugin signature, nothing. Your site was built by an agency, so the handler is most likely proprietary to them, which may mean you don't have self-service access to your own leads.

The fix, tracking build: a real test submission with the network tab open, to confirm where it goes and that a notification actually arrives. A form that submits successfully but never notifies you is the single most expensive thing that could be wrong here, and it's invisible from outside.

THE PLAN

  1. Confirm where your contact form actually goes, and that it's notifying you properly. This comes first, before anything else.
  2. Keep 30 to 50 real suburbs, written properly. Redirect the rest, roughly 3,800 pages.
  3. Your real 5.0 from 14 Google reviews on the site, with a link to the profile.
  4. A new landing page built properly, with tracking confirmed before anything is spent on ads.
  5. Meta Ads running against your actual best-performing services once the above is sorted.

What's already working in your favour

  • A perfect 5.0 from 14 Google reviews, every single one five stars. That's a genuinely strong record most businesses don't have.
  • An established business, trading and GST registered for close to five years, with your own ABN active since 2017. This isn't a new operation, it just doesn't look like one yet online.
  • An active Instagram, 138 posts and 157 followers, with the right phone number and email in the bio.
  • Zero broken pages across all 6,585 URLs we crawled. Whatever else is wrong, nothing on the site actually errors out.
  • Tracking is already installed (Google Tag Manager), so the foundation is there, it just needs confirming properly.

What this looks like

Referral through Nuno at Buetec
Landing page, normally $1,800 + GST, one-off
$1,440+ GST, one-off build, 20% off
  • Landing page build (one-off): $1,440 + GST, built and live, 20% off as a referral through Nuno
  • Ongoing management: $2,000/month, covers Meta Ads, Google Ads, tracking and the landing page once it's live. Scales with a performance fee once we know your numbers, never without your sign-off

Don't take our word for it. Here's real, live work for two businesses Nuno knows personally, click through either one on your phone.

That's the full picture. Nothing here is a reason not to move, it's exactly what decides whether a new landing page and Meta ads actually turn into jobs once they're live.

Let's go through it properly.
